HISTORY:
St. John's Danish Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church was organized on May 12th, 1870 in the home of Anders Rasmussen, pictured on the left. After many years of searching they settled on the site where the church now stands. |

In the late 50's early 60's the church was remodeled and an entry way was added.
In 2020, the church congregation started to update the landscaping around the church. Plants and rock were place all around the church. New concrete pad was laid in front. The sign was moved out toward the road and a planter with lighting was placed around it.

We as members of St. John's Lutheran Church believe that God is the foundation or our church and lives. As a church we must commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, and support our community and youth, and help them grow steadfast in their faith and service to God. We hope to remain a church of vision and faith.
The Lord is God! He made us- we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Psalms 100:3
